Overview: August 19, 2013: India's fastest growing luxury car maker, Audi India has now launched the much anticipated price cut version of its flagship compact crossover Q3, called the Q3 S Edition in India for Rs. 24.99 lakh. At this price, the Q3 S Edition has become India's most affordable luxury SUV. Since the Q3 S is basically a stripped down version of the Q3, it misses out on some features like Quattro four-wheel drive and automatic transmission gearbox. It is now a front-wheel drive, and the power is transmitted to the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Also,the engine has been tuned for more fuel economy, it now returns an impressive 17.71kmpl mileage as against regular Q3's 15.73kmpl. However, the power too has come down, it now produces 140bhp, while the regular Q3 churns out 174.3bhp.
